SOCIAL MEDIA

We currently have two social media channels but are always looking on expanding on this and will hopefully have more coming soon. The vast majority of our daily communications are done via Facebook, we have two groups one being for the public here at Plymouth and District Coarse Angling Club, and we have a second group which is for members only available here at P.A.D.C.A.C.

Our members only page is full of important information and daily communications from us, such as lake closures, important announcements, monthly newsletters, catch reports, hints and tips and a whole host of other things. We would strongly recommend on joining our Facebook groups as is usually the quickest way to reach one of us.

We now also have our own Instagram account which you can find here PADCAC.

PADCAC FREE COACHING

Free Summer Coaching 2026!

We are incredibly pleased to announce that, together with the support of the Angling Trust, we will once again be running our free coaching here at Filham Lake and at another of our lakes up at Cadover.

We have three fully accredited coaches available to bring you an exciting opportunity to receive help and support in your journey into fishing. The coaching is open to everyone, irrespective of age or physical ability, fishing is something anyone can do.

This year we will be running the Get Fishing Awards scheme. The scheme will start with the basics and run right through to the more advanced methods, as you complete each stage you will be awarded with a certificate from the Angling Trust, there are 3 stages being Bronze, Silver and Gold. We will start the summer with the first four events at Filham Lake in Ivybridge and the second half with four events at Cadover Lakes which offer slightly more challenging waters with deeper depths.

You can book on for these sessions by visiting www.anglingtrust.net/fishing-events/. You book each day individually so you can fit it around your other summer holiday plans. Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.

Summer Coaching will run every Saturday, from 4th July to 22nd August between 14:00-17:00, for more information or to find out availability and book please contact Steve Aldridge on 07359 193161 Or .
