Please be aware that Filham Lake will be closed for two weeks from Sunday 8th through to Sunday 22nd for essential maintenance and stock assessment. We will then re-open on Monday 23rd through to Friday 27th. It will then close again for the last of the maintenance to be completed on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th. The lake will be open as normal from Monday 29th onwards. Due to Filham  Lake being situated in a public park, which is always busy and members of the local community enjoy a walk around the lake, we will be locking all gates preventing access to anyone unless directly involved with the planned works. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

August is upon us already, here is a list of our known lake closures for this month, as always please keep an eye out here in the news section for any last minute unforeseen closures. Closures for this month are: Filham Lake on the 16th for the final leg of the Matchmens League Matches and then Filham Lake again on the 22nd for the Combo Carp Comp which is the next one of the always popular Reedys Carp Competitions. If you want to take part in any of these matches, or you require more info, then please contact Keith Escott for the Matchmens League or Paul Reed for Reedys Carp Comps both of whose contact details can be found on the PADCAC Committee & Bailiffs menu.  

As we rapidly approach the end of June and July looms ever nearer here is the list for the known lake closures for July. As always please keep an eye on our Facebook members page and on the news section here on the website for last minute unplanned closures.15th-19th July: St Germans lake will be closed due to an event taking part on the estate. 19th July: Filham Lake will be closed from 07:00 to 17:00 for the Matchmens Pairs League match. 25th-26th July: Cadover Lower Lake will be closed from 07:00 on the 25th through to 13:00 on the 26th for the next leg of Reedys Carp Competitions.

JUNE We start June off up at Cadover on the Car Park Lake, it is shut on the 14th until 17:00 for a Matchmens League Match. After this we have the Filham Doubles Carp Comp, Filham Lake will be closed from 06:00 Saturday the 20th of June through to 14:00 Sunday the 21st of June. We then finish off Junes matches with another round of the Matchmens League, Lower Lake up at Cadover will be shut on Sunday the 28th June until 17:00. Spawning Update 25.06.26 St Germans: The lake is now open for fishing. Filham: With no further signs of spawning last night or this morning the lake is now open again. Cadover:. Lower, Main and Car Park lakes are showing no signs of spawning and remain open. Thank you to everyone for your patience, we know it can feel frustrating not to be able to fish with the fine weather, but it is in the best interests of the fish to give them the time and freedom to spawn and fully recover and wont be long until your favourite venues reopen for fishing again.

As of this morning, 27.05.26, the spawning status of our lakes is: Cadover; Starting to group together but no signs of actual spawning yet so all lakes at Cadover remain open. Filham; Spawning has begun yesterday evening and still continuing this morning so Filham is closed until further notice. St Germans; The spawning continues so the lake remains closed until further notice. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
