JUNE We start June off up at Cadover on the Car Park Lake, it is shut on the 14th until 17:00 for a Matchmens League Match. After this we have the Filham Doubles Carp Comp, Filham Lake will be closed from 06:00 Saturday the 20th of June through to 14:00 Sunday the 21st of June. We then finish off Junes matches with another round of the Matchmens League, Lower Lake up at Cadover will be shut until 17:00 Sunday the 28th June. Spawning Update 08.06.26 St Germans: The fish have finished spawning and are now fully recovered. The lake is now open for fishing. Filham: The fish have finished spawning and are fully recovered. Lake is open for fishing. Cadover: There are still no signs of spawning on Main, Car Park or Lower lakes, we remain open at this time but are checking daily as this will change very soon. Thank you to everyone for your patience, we know it can feel frustrating not to be able to fish with the fine weather, but it is in the best interests of the fish to give them the time and freedom to spawn and fully recover and wont be long until your favourite venues reopen for fishing again.

As of this morning, 27.05.26, the spawning status of our lakes is: Cadover; Starting to group together but no signs of actual spawning yet so all lakes at Cadover remain open. Filham; Spawning has begun yesterday evening and still continuing this morning so Filham is closed until further notice. St Germans; The spawning continues so the lake remains closed until further notice. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We have just completed a project on Lower Lake up at Cadover which was another one ticked off the most wanted list. We created a small fenced off area beside the Lower Lake carpark and have completed the planting of 420-450 tree saplings, consisting of Hazel, Hawthorn, Willow, Birch, Crab Apple and Holly. Once this area is established it will create a wind block and much needed habitat for wildlife.
